YAU Senior Exhibition

Every Spring, graduating students have their end of year exhibition. This year, the exhibition for the Environmental Design Department students is at the Yunnan Museum of Literature and Art in Kunming, opening May 27, 2025. The show features Mykos and all the studies, renderings, and models that they have created to visualize its potential realization.

Mykos Exhibition

The YAU Environmental Design space at the exhibition features 14 meters of wall panels along with numerous pedestals showing 31 models of the Mykos layout and buildings.

It includes a Mycobrick made by Chris Maurer, redhouse studio architecture, that people can touch and smell to experience how it feels.

It also shows the steps it takes to grow myco-materials so that people can begin to understand the process.
